It's a really complex approach. One thing I'm sure, I love engaging with inspirational leaders (be it a project director, a coordinator, a CEO,...), that's what drives me to do things better. Those who are manipulators, can work on the short-terms, but I refrain from working at the command of manipulator style. I always make sure that what I have above me is someone inspirational. It's my only requirement.

Life gets a whole lot easier when you do exactly what you describe above.

I’ve worked for manipulators, it causes too much unneeded stress.

5 stars. Brilliant piece and vitally important because leaders don't always recognize which one they are headed to becoming or already are with their thinking and actions.

I agree! So glad you like it. I actually was promoted to write this because of exactly what you just said. I work with some leaders who just don’t understand that they aren’t influencers. In the end, they’re just jerks.
