After careful consideration, I admit it: I was wrong. In the early stages of the COVID lockdown, I believed that only the entrepreneurial-minded minority would be able to work productively from home. It can be a really hard thing to do, working from where you live. It’s just not possible for the masses to do it productively.
My appendix ruptured in 1993. My boss couldn't wait to get me back to work so he sent his tech guys to set me up with a computer and PC Anywhere at home. Been hooked ever sense. That was actually the catalyst that moved me to start my own business. Been a fluid worker ever since.
100% Fluid worker and I have been since 2001. I am so much more productive on my own schedule which is very fluid than in a standard 9 - 5 world! Great insight!
I have a baby, I don't get that much time for thoughts HAHA So I would have always said I was a structured worker but these last two years have challenged my structure and I want so badly to adapt a fluid schedule. However, I find that the work that I am doing OR the role that I am in doesn't truly allow for that flexible work day due to meetings, constant changes in live event marketing and so I'm working 8-9 hours straight and still not feeling that sense that I can sign off, though I do. It's lead to fatigue and burnout. I'm curious to see how my work day will look coming back after maternity leave where I will have to be more fluid to accommodate my daughter.

great story Theresa! except the ruptured appendix part, of course. Fluid workers unite! ; )
I do know which one to use “since”. 😬

if only I knew I was a fluid worker. i think i need a do-over of a decade or two.
I have so many thoughts on this. Thanks for giving me a thought provoking subject
